197

"Thoughts"

197 days until my wedding.

197 days seems soooooo far away.  Due to school and financial issues, when we finally get married, we will have had a 9 month engagement.  It will have been 2 years since we were "introduced."

When I was with the wrong person I kept postponing even thinking about marriage.  Once I met Peter, we were talking about marriage immediately.

If we had followed my ideal plan, we would be getting married tomorrow.  I know in my mind that waiting until I graduate and until Peter is financially secure is the better choice.  Yet my heart is disappointed and anxious.

Sigh.

2013 Resolutions

Ah, yes, the dreaded "resolutions" post.  Actually, New Year's resolutions don't upset me.  I rarely make them, but when I do, I always keep them.  Yes, I'm one of those people.  Maybe it's my incredible  stubbornness, maybe it's my iron strong will-power... maybe I'm just crazy.  I don't know...

One of my friends wrote in her blog that she wants to be more active - physically, mentally, spiritually, etc.  I think that is a perfect resolution.  It is specific, but it is not overwhelming.  It is something that will enhance her life but not stress her out.  I love it.  I think I may just steal it!  :)

So in addition to my friend's resolution, which I am now claiming as well, here are the other "resolutions" I have come up with:

1.  Cultivate creativity.
2.  Moisturize more.  (I have really dry skin.  And I need to moisturize, but I'm too lazy...)
3.  Abundant adventures! (add: always alliterate? haha, nerd alert!)
