Puppy Fever

Most girls get baby fever (I'm assuming?)... I get puppy fever.  I have a true case of puppy fever right now.  I've even picked out names for our future puppy/ies.  It's serious, you guys.

To be honest, I'm not a puppy racist.  Meaning, I don't care what kind of dog we eventually get.  Black, white, multicolored, brown, big, small, doesn't matter.  Although I would prefer that it be somewhat fluffy.  I'd love to adopt from a dog rescue, but I'd also love a cute maltese or golden retriever.  I'll just have to take what I can get whenever I can get it!!!

Paraty - Part 4 - A Snail on a Rail

Can we just stop for a second and admire this totally adorable, tiny snail?!?!?  This thing was ti-ny!

Although I almost smooshed the snail with my hand because it was so small I didn't see it, and then squealed and insisted Peter come over immediately to take some pics, I am proud to say no snails were harmed in the taking of these pictures!

This snail was found in Paraty, Brazil.

As some of you have noticed by now, comments are back to normal.  I have noooooo idea what happened for a few months, but I realized that people were unable to comment.  I think it had something to do with blogger putting everything on Google+ (which I didn't want)... So I think I fixed it an now everything should be back to normal for commenting.  If you want to leave a comment but don't have any of the IDs listed, you should be able to create a "Guest" post and put your name in, or just post as "Anonymous" and sign your name after your comment.

Call me crazy, but I'm obsessed with this trashcan.  I saw it at the school and immediately wanted one for my apartment!

I'm picturing it under my kitchen counter.  He could gobble up all the odds and ends.

The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society: A Novel

I just finished reading the cutest book.  It has been awhile since I've read a book that I couldn't put down.  Mainly because graduate school doesn't leave much free time for pleasure reading.  I really don't have the time, now, either, but I couldn't resist!  My grandma gave me this book last year and I just now got around to reading it.  I don't know what took me so long!  It is adorable!
